I had a 96' B5 and I had a lot of issues with it but then that was a 2.8L V6, then I purchased a silver 99' B5 with the 1.8T best car I ever had no major issues with this one I sold it with 215,000 miles on it and the stock turbo was replaced at 199,000. Now I have an 02' B6 with the 1.8T with a lot of upgrades bigger turbo (still have the original turbo) and exhaust also I lowered the car and its silver my second silver car.
